The GRIT Airbox SUMO - a Texas sized goalie carry bag with room to breath! New to the Airbox family the “Airbox SUMO” is skinned with polyvinyl tarp and the same crossover/mesh proven so successfully in our player bag. Airbox SUMO features: venting in all directions, an internal equipment divider to separate skates from gear, a protective cover for the goalie mask, interior pockets for accessories and an insulated cooler sleeve for beverages. Available in black - 42 inch.

Customization

There is an ID card slot for player name and number on the top of the bag. Custom printing on card will allow you to include your team logo.

Organization

Divided storage for your helmet and skates keep your equipment organized. Also included are 2 additional pockets for storing smaller items.

Ventilation

The AIRBOX SUMO features nylon mesh and webbing exterior which gives the bag 360 degrees of ventilation.

Extra Protection

Removable protective mask cover protects your helmet from all sides.

So full, so heavy, need wheels.... Great quality bag though, it's just so hard to carry when full.

A little under impressed

Pros of the bag:
Lightweight
Organization
Airflow doesn’t require emptying the bag for gear to dry out every single time

Cons:
Shoulder strap isn’t long enough when bag is full
Senior sized goalie gear fills this to the brim (and then can’t utilize already short carry straps)
Cost, considering the issue with the straps.

I’m considering returning the bag because the short straps are a real deal breaker if my teen can’t get the bag on his shoulder. He is 6’’1” and his gear fills every inch of this bag, without leg pads inside.

Best Goalie Bag to date!

This bag organizes my equipment perfectly with areas for each piece and pockets for accessories. Coming from a wheeled CCM bag that had the interior flaking off within 4 months of use this is a refreshing change. Well done Grit.

A chonky load-hauling sonofagun that gets the job done!

I can fit all my box lacrosse goalie gear in this thing comfortably and it's a breeze to get gear in and out.

Definitely recommend

Excellent goalie bag! Lots of space and love the helmet pocket to protect my custom helmet. Would totally buy another but it’s incredibly durable, so I’ll never have to.
