First New Bag

It seems to be a very well-made and no-nonsense bag (easy to organize) but I won't get to use it until spring. I'm looking forward to trying it on the cart! Love the lightweight and feel of the materials right from the start. My former Sun Mountain C130 was fading and the zippers are now brittle but it served me well for 5 plus years as the second owner.

A New Era for Golf Bags!

I have waited a while to write this review because I wanted to use the bag under divers situations to give the full-meal deal. I geared up with new clubs, and new push cart, so a new bag was a no -brainer. I stumbled across this bag through a hockey player friend who had the Grit bag for hockey…I was impressed and surprised when he told me of the Grit bag for golf. Now that I have one, I won’t be going back. My old bag was big…it had saddlebags larger than one would find on an RCMP dress uniform and pockets enough to cover all eventualities…it also weighed a ton and crowded the rack on any power cart I shared.
Do yourself a favour and check out the Grit Golf Bag. You won’t regret it!

Pros: Light weight . A top and bottom handle make it easy to load and unload. I love the front access — there is tons of room for all my golf-related goodies. A separate dedicated ball pouch and padded pocket for electronics on top for easy access, and a larger storage compartment below provides ample room for extras such a rain wear and sundries. Umbrella storage and insulated drink sleeve round things out.
Cons: Few complaints. Being used to bags that have individual pockets for each club is nice— the Grit doesn’t have that but I haven’t had any problems. The Grit fit perfectly on my old push cart, but not so perfectly on my new Bag Boy…not the end of the world…it rides well and offers me easy access and no sore back !

All-in-all, I give it five stars and have no problem recommending it to anyone in the market for a new golf bag.

Close to 5 star

I think I’d like a more basic square grid pattern for club slots, especially with the whole bag being square. It’s like someone in the design team didn’t get the memo and went with triangles for that part, which leaves the clubs out of alignment looking unorganized to me. Full length club dividers in every slot would help a lot because I feel like the club tangles are made worse by the unique design of the dividers.

Outside looks good but

It’s a good design, but the insulation is not all the way to the bottom so that’s why the sticks are fighting each other inside the tower. And this is the reason why I return the product. This issue is not in the description of the online sale.
