My older son(11) loves his Hockey Tower from grit and my little guy(7) really wanted one. He was using a Bauer bag but man did that thing hold moisture like no tomorrow, even if you left it unzipped. Even taking things out to wash and dry the bag just started to stink and make everything in it stink. It was just way too much up keep of constant cleaning after every use. I did not have that issue with the Hockey Tower because of the ventilation, stuff was half dry already when we took it out to dry or wash and the bag never stinks.
So I originally went to order the little guy a Tower of his own until I saw the current price for this Cube. This is a much better size for him currently as well. The venting around the top is a god send and just what I needed. No more stink!! Stuff starts to air out and dry immediately so it is much easier to dry and wash and the bag does not hold odor or moisture. This bag is much bigger than you would think too. It doesn’t have the compartments the tower does but holds just as much easy. One day my older son will need to upgrade to the 36” tower and the little guy will get the 33” but this Cube is absolutely perfect in the meantime especially for the price difference between the 2. If you have a little guy or girl or just don’t need the layout of the tower style, this bag can’t be beat for the price IMO.
