GRIT Python G900.1 Hockey Glove - Men's

Great gloves. Used them immediately without any break-in time, every bit as good as anything I've used from Bauer or CCM. Excellent feel and protection. Only negative is they are a bit small. My hand measurement is 8" and the 15" fits almost like it was custom made but if they were even 8 1/2" or wider than they are it would be too small. If your hands aren't any bigger than mine I highly recommend these, especially at half off. But I do need to warn, if you have hands any bigger than 8" look elsewhere, no way these will fit properly.

I feel weird about this glove. Mainly the coil. I love trying gear with new ideas and tech. The coil seems like a great idea, but I feel it is handicapped the way it is implemented. This is a nice glove. The construction alone is worth it. It does feel like a well made glove. It has a soft palm that has held up very well (since Oct '22) with minimal wear from my buttendz grips. The stretch gusset material at the fingers is nice. The protection package is better than average with dual density foams and plastic caps, but the ratio of the foams does seem to lean towards the softer stuff. It fits more modern, with a tighter backhand, the coil contours and follows the wrist, but the fingers are a little loose. There's an odd flap in the thumb, I'm not sure if it's intentional, but your thumb can get stuck on or on the other side of when putting them on, then you kinda have to wiggle them to get your thumb in the right spot. Onto the coil. I was envisioning a loose coil in more of an unloaded state that would come up higher on the wrist offering more protection. This coil is shaped and compressed so it doesn't really offer anything a normal cuff wouldn't. Compared to a regular glove, the protection was about the same, as well as the amount of flex and protection when flexed. The coil just wasn't able to really move with both the glove and my wrist. I'd love to see the next implementation. If you're looking for something interesting and want to support a small company, this is it!

The Grit Python gloves provide great protection for my entire hand and up my wrist. The coil tech in the wrist allows me to easily move my wrist to handle pucks and shoot. I find the gloves comfortable and easy to break in and they continue to hold up through the whole season. Overall, an awesome glove for any hockey player!

They provide great protection for you wrist. Saved me a few times from some decent whacks. They’re comfy and when broken in easily compete with the big brands. Even with the wrist protection, it doesn’t affect wrist mobility and allows for normal stick handling with no adjustments. All around great glove in my opinion.

Our Jr team has been using the Grit Python gloves this season and as an organization we are very pleased with them. The design, construction and soft palms make them usable right away. Also they look great on our players. The gloves have also been very durable for us. The added wrist protection is a bonus.
